A Different Side of the Poker Venue

The Card Lounge extends the offline poker environment beyond the main Poker Room. Physical cards, tactile surfaces and real poker tables maintain a clear connection to poker while creating a different atmosphere within the venue.

Cards & Tables

Physical Cards on the Table

The Card Lounge is built around the feel of real cards on a real table. Cards are shuffled, dealt and played face-to-face, with no screens or digital interfaces. Standard playing cards are handled by players, and the table surface is designed for card play with a felt-like texture. No online poker or virtual tables are used.

Real Poker Tables

The Card Lounge features real poker tables that are the same quality as those in the main Poker Room. They are designed for comfortable, face-to-face play. Tables are sturdy and built for offline poker, seating is arranged for players to face each other, and the tables are a central feature of the Card Lounge.

Tactile Surfaces

Every surface in the Card Lounge is chosen for its tactile quality, from the table felt to the chair upholstery. This physicality is part of the offline poker experience. Surfaces are warm and inviting, not cold or sterile. The design echoes the verandah canopy concept with horizontal planes, and the space feels grounded and architectural.

Card Lounge Atmosphere

A Quieter Poker Environment

The Card Lounge offers a more relaxed atmosphere than the main Poker Room. The lighting is softer, the seating is more casual, and the pace is unhurried. It is still a poker space, but with a different rhythm. The Card Lounge is designed for conversation and comfortable play. The atmosphere is adult and understated. Poker remains the focus, but the environment feels less intense.

Between Poker Experiences

A Space to Pause and Continue

The Card Lounge is a natural place to transition between poker experiences. Whether you are waiting for a poker night to begin or taking a break from a private poker session, the Card Lounge offers a comfortable space to stay engaged with the game.

  • The Card Lounge is adjacent to the Poker Room, making movement easy.
  • Players can continue discussing hands or strategies in a relaxed setting.
  • The space is designed for both short pauses and longer conversations.

One Venue, Two Poker Spaces

The Card Lounge and the Poker Room are part of the same poker venue. They share the same commitment to offline poker, real tables and face-to-face play. The Card Lounge is not a separate business; it is an extension of the poker environment. Both spaces are located at 153 Margaret Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350. Players can move freely between the two areas, and the design language is consistent, with the same architectural materials.

From Card Lounge to Dining

Dining Completes the Visit

After time in the Card Lounge, visitors can move to the restaurant for a meal. The dining experience is designed to complement the poker visit, not overshadow it. The same attention to physical comfort and quality extends to the dining area. The restaurant is part of the same venue, dining is presented as a secondary part of the visit, and the transition from Card Lounge to dining is seamless.
